In view of winning many international awards and bringing glory to the country and making outstanding contributions to China’s musical instrument industry, Zhu Mingjiang was rated as
“Outstanding Figure in China’s Musical Instrument Industry in 2006” and
“Outstanding Figure in China’s Musical Instrument Industry in 2010” by relevant national departments.
In 2008, he was awarded the title of “National Technical Expert in Light Industry”, “National Technical Expert” and “National Model Worker”.
Zhu Mingjiang has won a total of nineteen international competition awards at the top international competition “American International Violin Making Competition”, including two gold medals and two silver medals. At the same time, three of his students also won a total of four awards in international competitions. So far, Zhu Mingjiang is the Chinese who has won the most awards and the highest award in this competition, becoming one of the most awarded outstanding violin makers in the world.
He has been interviewed and reported by many media such as Time Magazine, Reuters TV, World Weekly, People’s Daily, and “Musical Instruments” magazine, and is known as “the top violin maker within 5% of the world today.”In 2008, Zhu Mingjiang was admitted as a member of the “International Violin Masters Association”, which gathers the world’s violin-making elites, and became one of the three Chinese international violin-making masters.
In 2010, Zhu Mingjiang served as the only Chinese craft judge for the “First China International Violin Making Competition” in Beijing, which reflected his technical level and status in the Chinese violin making industry.
